Your messages are not uploaded. A report carries a hash of the number and up to 512 characters of the text with personal data masked — names in free text may not be fully masked, so the app shows you the text first.

It never uploads your contacts. The same protection, without compromising your privacy.
Your backup stays in your hands
SafeKeep saves an encrypted backup file on your phone; you choose where to send a copy with the share menu. We never hold the key.
